Glif UGC Studio
Intro
UGC Studio is a feature of the AI creative platform Glif launched on October 30, 2026, which Glif pitches as "the first AI modeling agency" built into its app. You cast one of 165 persistent AI characters (e.g. Amara, Freja, Camille), drop in up to three product photos and a short brief, approve a shot plan, and Glif generates a vertical UGC-style product video — unboxings, talking-to-camera clips, "get ready with me" or honest-review formats — for TikTok, Reels and Stories.
Explain
How it works
- Product photos (0–3) – clean shots on a plain background work best.
- Pick a creator from the cast of 165 characters; the same face stays consistent across videos.
- Choose a brief – Unboxing, Talking to camera, Get ready with me, or Honest review – plus your own hook or key message.
- Choose a model and length – 5 to 30 seconds (15 s default). Options include Seedance 2.5 (best faces and motion, ~208 credits per take) and Hailuo H3 Max (cheaper 768p drafts, ~162 credits).
- Approve the plan – Glif writes the script and shot plan and shows it before rendering.
- Get a 9:16 video, then upscale the takes you keep.
Why it matters
It turns AI video from "generate a clip" into an end-to-end ad production workflow with recurring virtual talent, which is attractive for performance marketers testing many hooks. Reactions also raised concerns about jobs for stylists and photographers and the need for clear AI-content labeling; Glif's own docs say AI creators must not be presented as real customer testimonials.
Usage
How to try it

- Browse the cast at glif.app/characters.
- Docs: Video Studio documentation (also callable via Glif's MCP

Tips
- Keep the creator fixed and change only the hook to run clean A/B tests.
- Draft cheaply at low resolution, upscale only winners.
- Check AI-disclosure rules for each ad platform and country before running ads.
