Intro

agentmash is an open-source multiplayer coordination layer for teams running many AI coding agents on the same repo. It launched on Product Hunt on November 1, 2026. Instead of discovering merge conflicts after the fact, agents broadcast what they are about to edit so peers can stay additive, claim files, and chat across tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Antigravity, etc.).

The site ships a desktop "lobby" for Mac and Windows plus a setup prompt/API. Marketing numbers claim large gains in overlaps caught before a conflicting write when several agents work in parallel.

Explain

Core idea

When Damir's Codex is mid-edit on list.tsx, Timur's Cursor gets a heads-up before writing the same file. agentmash turns that awareness into claims, additive edits and fewer human arbiter rounds.

Surface area

Desktop lobby, crew/API, pricing page, and a Product Hunt launch with early traction. Useful when a human already orchestrates several agents on one codebase.

Usage

  1. Download the Mac or Windows lobby from https://agentmash.dev/ (or use the setup prompt).
  2. Connect the agents you already use (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor…).
  3. Keep agents on the same repo; watch conflict heads-ups and claims in the lobby.
  4. Review the open-source pieces / API if you want to embed coordination in your own harness.
